Local Clinic Support
MEF will provide the local clinic of Awutu with basic facilities to help improve the care they provide. This support will be in various forms and will be unveiled when the project is up and running after the launch of the foundation. Upgrading of the clinic will be one of the areas to be looked at as well as facilities based on the requirements of the clinic

Annual Sports Day
One of the aims of the foundation is to promote a healthy nation and promote sports in the Awutu area.

Essien Foundation Fulfills 2 dreams

The Michael Essien Foundation in association with the Chelsea Foundation is giving two youngsters from Ghana the chance to realise their dreams of playing at Chelsea.

The Chelsea Foundation, invited two young boys from Ghana to take part in a three-day residential camp from 17 - 20 August.

Essien Foundation Reading Goals
Michael Essien Foundation, in association with the Ghana Ministry of Education, Pearson Education and Chelsea Football Club has launched a project dubbed, "Reading Goals" to inculcate reading habit in basic pupils.
